When will Exp = Race points ?

I heard people talk about it but can't find anything, so it seems to be a popular "voice of the people". And tbh it's not a bad idea at all.

Having 1% or 0.1% of all exp equal "race points" would be far more interesting and engaging than clvl tiers. Sure there is the chance of getting into the top20 of each class and getting a random unique, which you mostly have already anyways and it sucks... but wouldn't it be much more satisfying to climb up the ladder by each and every kill you make?

Also, having some sort of option when hitting a milestone, 15 - 30 - 60 race points now, and being able to choose a reward instead of being given some USELESS SHIT that you don't need on any char would be appreciated too. Or maybe even turn points into game currency so we could buy some more stash tabs...

Moved to appropriate board.
Currently playing on:
Ps5 - - Diablo IV s4, Predecessor, Dungeon Encounters, Assassins Creed Origins, Stellaris (finally);
Tablet - - Buriedbornes 2, Dawncaster Deckbuilder, Loop Hero, Fate GO;
and,
PC - - Word (book 2 draft is done! formatting and shit ensues.)
That would skew the point difference between winners and those 5 levels behind even more.

Take a signature race, 135 min solo:

Currently:
Level 7: 1 point
Level 14: 3 points
Level 19: 4 points
Level 23: 5 points
Level 26: 6 points
Level 29: 7 points
Level 34: 10 points

With points = 0.1 % of total XP:
Level 7: 19 point
Level 14: 208 points
Level 19: 685 points
Level 23: 1,505 points
Level 26: 2,535 points
Level 29: 4,081 points
Level 34: 8,384 points

The typical winner would get much more points compared to the typical racer. You would need some sort of formula to translate the XP into points so that they are not that skewed, and that is exactly what we currently have.
