Cannot Re-link account to twitch or claim drop

I was able to claim my deer pet but it does not show in game. I unlinked my account and tried to link it again but I keep getting "Unable to verify the connection to your Twitch account. If you keep seeing this message you may need to re-link your account." Any help would be appreciated.
