Dc to desktop

I am having a issue where when I play Path of Exile....it will crash to desktop during a loading screen. 99% of the time it doesn't even get thru the first GGG screen, so I can't even get to the menu section. Everything is updated (gpu/cpu/motherboard). Cpu is intel i7-3700kf/Gpu is 3080 nvidia/MB is Asrock z690 phantom gaming 4/d5...

un-installed...re-installed
verified game files
turned comp on/off
ran in compat mode
ran in admin mode
have begged it to work
emailed GGG...told me to F off cause they're not give tech support


Not a tech guy by any stretch but I kinda feel like its something with a nvidia and/or razor app, but prob wrong since i've always have had those.....

if you can get me a fix i'll sub or send some $$ to paypal lmao!

I'm not sure if I've been able to narrow the issue down to any one thing completely... yet, but I have had the same problem in the past.

A couple of questions:

• Do you have multiple monitors?
• Are you running the game in Windowed Borderless?

In my personal experience, if I am actively doing something on my second monitor when the loading screen hits, it freezes and crashes. I have been able to avoid all crashes by making sure the game is my active application (the last one you interacted with) when the game is loading.

In any event, I do believe this is a game client bug that may be patched out.
