Performance issues/Map change freezing...

Hello, i've recently redownloaded the game after not playing since launch. Unfortunately the game is still just unplayable for me if anything much worse. Everytime i map swap or anything of the sort, game just freezes no matter how long i wait, to the point where reloading the game doesn't even fix it on multiple occasions. Settings tuned to run no issues, still massive spikes to probably 0 FPS and worse, game is running so poor yet i am able to run any other game without any issues. Yes, all my drivers and everything else are up to date etc etc... I wanted to write a private ticket but was told to post on the forum so, i'm sure this will lead to useless toxic BS. I really wanted to enjoy this game since the get go and was hoping as of downloading it again the other night the performance issues would be resolved, especially considering how many people are able to play and get far where things get so hectic and i assume have 0 issues? I don't have some 400k NASA PC but i also don't have some shit box, it's fairly new and i got it so that i wouldn't have issues gaming. Thanks. If there's a recommendation from someone who actually works at GGG please let me know, i've tried to do what i can and to no avail have i come to a solution. I feel as if the best option would be a refund.
