Can only play with a VPN

A few months back, my latency on POE and POE2 started spiking extremely high and the game would come to a complete stand still while I watched the ms shoot up well over 30,000. I tried searching all over to find a solution until I installed a VPN. Ever since I started using the VPN, my latency is completely normal. After a few months, I decided to check to see if the issue still persists. So I disabled the VPN and saw that the same exact issue was still happening.

For reference, this also happens when I play World of Warcraft. But outside of that, my internet is completely normal without the VPN enabled. Uploads and downloads are as fast as they normally are. I can stream 4K and play my PS5 just fine without any latency. I'm no expert with any of this, but it seems like my ISP isn't routing the traffic properly for POE and WoW? I've tried contacting them in the past and they told me they see no issues on their end and they even sent a tech out do tests here on the line.

Any help would be appreciated. While it's nice that I can still play with a VPN, I don't like that I need to do that in order to play...

I have this too. One week ago problems are gone. And today again my latency is +10.000 ms after changing area. VPN is good for me but I think this game is broken again now.
