Upon trying to link my steam account to the account that I play on console I get this message-"You cannot add this login method to this account.

You may need to log in successfully using the stand-alone client in order to complete the unlock process and proceed with the linking. I hope this helps and I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause!

So I did as you advised. Downloaded the standalone client. Logged in after completing the "unlock process" and it still will not let me link my steam account to my main account. I have emailed support 4 times regarding this. I initially received a response asking if it was resolved and that they could help to which I responded that it had not been resolved. That was a month ago and I have yet to receive any help with this. I purchased PoE2 on steam and PS5 and I would like to be able to move between platforms to play. Some help would be appreciated.

So we need to install the stand-alone client and login before we can login on Steam? That's really annoying..

I can log in on steam just fine. The issue is that I cannot link my steam account to the account I play on console. And the bigger issue is that I am getting zero help from support after 2 months. I get that they are under staffed but when do we start getting help??

I have been waiting for a reply/solution to this since Dec 7th.
I have had about 8 email responses, ALL OF WHICH ASK THE SAME THINGS. Still unable to link accounts due to my account being locked. Standalone login does not solve this at all. ZERO help files about this ANYWHERE. F*****G Stinks Also, recently learned that GGG are 100% owned by TenCent so I really am no longer holding my breathe and just plain giving up. Kudos GGG, what a memorable pre-launch this has been. |

I just received my 6th email asking for my info which I provided AGAIN. Now we wait another month for another email asking for my info AGAIN. So far unimpressed by support.
