I bought some items from players yesterday, and while messaging lots didn't answer me, most of those that did, did so instantly.

Is there a function in the game that you just park your character in your hideout, and it sells the item automatically? I'm new to trading (as well as a lot of things), so I'm still trying to understand things.

What you are asking for is considered botting and will get your account banned. Generally speaking, most people ignore most low value trades, especially so late in league. It's not worth the time to stop what you're doing in order to make a few chaos. Those trades are listed in case you happen to message them at a time that is ideal for the seller.

Faustus manages the Currency Exchange, and he will auto buy/sell for you even when your account is offline. Experiences like yours are the standard and why GGG has reversed their long standing no AH policy.

There are a few commonly used trade overlays to simplify the trading process. GGG does not endorse any 3rd party program, and all are subject to the ToS. If any 3rd party program you use violates the ToS, even without your knowing it, your account is subject to be banned.
