Chance to avoid stuns & blocking

My character has 100% chance to avoid stuns while casting. I use a channelling skill, so this applies most of the time in combat. I'm holding a shield, so have chance to block. I'm wondering if I have a chance to be "stunned briefly" as the wiki puts it, when I block a hit that's strong enough to stun me.
Wiki says:
"
Because block rolls after mitigation, when a hit is blocked, the game has already calculated the defender's damage taken, and whether that damage would have stunned. If it would have caused a stun, the blocking animation is played, stunning you briefly.[8] If it would not have caused a stun, then you get a "free" block with no animation.

Faster Block and Stun Recovery and Increased Block Recovery modifiers reduce the length of the blocking animation.

I haven't noticed these micro stuns myself, but maybe they're too short to be percepable.
Related question: The stat "faster stun and block recovery" is useless for me if in fact I can't be stunned in blocks, correct?
Thanks for your help.

Stuns and the block animation is pretty complicated. This checks out though, the block animation is only played when you block a hit that would of stunned. Since you are saying you have 100% chance to avoid stuns up most of the time due to channeling, you wont be blocking hits that would have stunned and wont be encountering block animation.

If you have stun immunity stun and block recovery will no be needed.
