PoE 2 Guilds

Are guilds account bound? Meaning, if I'm in a PoE 1 guild, will that guild exist by default in PoE 2 and will my characters be part of that guild?

Good question. Also, we didn't hear much about guilds, as far as I know. It's not a big issue under EA, but it should be implemented and used in a better way than in PoE1.

I have questions too.
For example Guilds can have MTX, what happens to ours? Can we claim them? Or does the Guild#2 already exists with the same leaders and membership?
