Enemy mod: skills chain x additional times

What does this map mod do? If I have no minions to chain to, does it do nothing? Thanks!

If there's nothing for them to chain off should be fine. Not a mod I usually worry about that much, but yeah could be bad with minions. Soul of lunaris can protect against this, but sounds like you probably don't need it. I don't think it can chain off environment like deadeye, but maybe some mobs have a skill that can, not certain about it. Probably worst when combined with extra proj and has multiple targets to chain off.
