POE 2 Steam Regional Discounts REMOVED

I think i speak for many who have noticed that regional pricing on steam was removed all together, we have been saving and waiting on paychecks to come through to gain EA to play the best ARPG to ever exist. At a discounted price it made it way more affordable for all of us who simply cannot dish out the extra money.

PLEASE give us the discounts back on the supporter packs in steam as its unfair to everyone who was waiting to get funds to afford the packs cannot VS the ones who instantly bought them...

Can we get an explanation to this change or even a little bit of information I will be very happy to know whats cooking.

They should have at least give us an announcement or something. I woke up this morning and saw that the price just doubled without any explanation. I am like one week away from paycheck and seeing the discount removed just made me down. The avg salary in my country is like 2500, and the price for Lord ogham support is like 268. thats like 10%~ of the salary already. Although it's not a lot for me, but most people in other countries they only able to purchase it after working for a month. Imagine spending all your paycheck just for a game. I hope they do something about this. Im just gonna wait for few days and see if they return the discount back before purchasing it.

I was going to purchase it on the 6th, but this sudden increase would make me reconsider. It would have been if they quoted this price form the start, or even if they sent out a notice that this is only going to last till X-date. That would have given people the scope to buy it before the price increase. It is absolutely unacceptable that they increased it, that too over the weekend, without a single notice or announcement!
95% of games on Steam have regional pricing, it makes sense for those economies!

I was also waiting on my next paycheck to jump in on the EA. Coming from the Philippines here, and the economy is whack. I was very grateful for the opportunity to join EA and was willing to pay the initial price, but I then noticed the price just doubled for me before my paycheck came in.

Same happened here in Mexico, priced doubled, hope they revert it to regional price like they have still in Brazil and a few other countries, I know they probably did this because some people were abusing the price, maybe lock it behind a payment method like credit cards that were issued in the country or deposit on a local store like a 7eleven and not something easy to bypass like it address. This for sure will net them more money, since more people will be buying the EA.

I know in some places Steam actually enforces that. The customer needs to pay with a local currency bank account/card, depending on the store country.
This is a malpracice on the part of GGG which was entirely unexpected!

Same thing happened here in India, prices increased by 210% on supporter packs from regional prices is now converted prices of USD$
