Game Crashing

Hi. When I connect the game it freezes and it is necessary to restart my PC. Does the same thing happen to anyone else? And what was your solution?

Win10/11
If Win11 23H2 or 24H2

Nvidia or AMD GPU?
What driver version?

What renderer is the game trying to use?
DX11 DX12 VULKAN

To find this out if the game won't load you can open your production_Config.ini file as .txt in notepad or a similar app.

The default location is:
Documents\My Games\Path of Exile\production_Config.ini

Inside this file you want to search for:
renderer_type=
If this is set to DX11 change the line to:
renderer_type=DirectX12

If you do make an adjustment to this file ensure it is saved as .ini and not .txt

I get a random freeze and a disconnect, no need to reboot but only restart the game.
