Loading Screen Crash

Game crashes in loading screen I can't play for almost 2 months. I tried everything in the internet to fix it but I couldn't fix it. I tried to change directx to 12 or vulkan but I can't change it because of crashes but except that I tried everything. My graphic card is gtx 1650, AMD Ryzen 5 4600H. You need to fix this lots of people complain abot this right now.

Hi, so a couple possible things this could be... maybe even more.
But try these to see if you can load:

Verify the issue isn't caused by a recent Windows update to 24H2

Verify this isn't a new NVIDIA driver update that caused the issue.
You want no newer than 561.09 due to issues with the 2 newest.

If you need to change your renderer from DX11 to DX12 or Vulkan, you can do this from your production_Config.ini file.

The file is normally located here:
Documents > My Games > Path of Exile > production_Config.ini

right click > edit with notepad or a document editing app.

Ctrl+F to search or whatever the app uses

Search for "renderer"

Change the line to look like one of these:

renderer_type=Vulkan
renderer_type=DirectX12

Make sure you edit this file with PoE completely closed.
Also, make sure you save the file as .ini not as .txt

Good stuff. Glad you got it fixed!

Keep an eye on the driver version Windows likes to sometimes auto update them.

GPU-Z is a good app for driver and card info too.

If you want to keep updated on the latest driver releases and fixes or issues, this is the 566.03 release NVIDIA megathread:

I've been crashing for a month straight and tried everything. This actually worked. Installed the old driver directly from NVIDIA then changed the config file to DirectX 12 and it instantly fixed the problem Thank you!!!
