Need help with my build should be able to clear tier 17s but my build is failing

Some things to consider would be capping resistances, layers of defense, trading damage for defensive layers works.

Apart from your char the most important thing is to actually roll the map right! Let me give you an example:

If you take a look at this map I can tell you it is perfectly rolled for my char. I don't have minions so I don't give a fuck about these mods. I'm immune to ignite, freeze and shock so I don't give a fuck about those mods too. Monsters have a 50% chance to block my attacks but I don't care because I don't attack. Monsters have +1 max power charges & monsters gain a power charge on hit but I don't care because I kill them before they can attack me 99% of the time. After all this map is nothing but:

42% more monster life
+
players have 25% less area off effect

Only 2 real mods means that map is just like a magic (blue) map for my build. Rolling a T17 map the right way is all the difference between easy mode and uber horrible map of nightmares!
