help with rallying cry

Hi,

I do not get the rallying cry buff and I don't understand why. It is not supported by autoexertion.

I am talking about this portion of the skill:

"

Buff grants Added Attack Damage equal to 4% of the Damage of your Main
Hand Weapon per 5 Power, counting a maximum of 30 Power

I have Mob Mentality spec'd so I do get charges when I cry, so I know it has power.

I don't see any buff effect and when I hover my mouse over my default attack, it does not increase after I use the skill (except when I get a power or frenzy charge).

What am I missing?

edit: maybe an add-on question. I know proxies (my general's cry mirage warriors) are not buffed by rallying cry, but I was hoping they would get my buff (increased added attack damage) if I would get it, do they?

Nearby allies get that buff. You are not a nearby ally therefore you don't get the buff and neither do your Mirage Warriors.

Counts total Power of Enemies and Allies in Range

So what allies (or enemies) do you have in range when you cry, to count their Power ?
