Svalinn spell trigger question

So it says trigger an elemental spell…..I’ve had enduring cry in the shield, along with detonate dead with lifetap and both are triggered nicely, or so it seems to me. Pretty much have 3 endurance charges all the time. So what isn’t an elemental spell? Am I missing something?

Elemental spell is a spell with Fire, Cold or Lightning tag (not sure about Prismatic). Svalinn can't trigger Enduring cry, it's not a spell. You get endurance charges from Disciple of the Unyielding passive.
