FFS fix your game GGG
I am so sick of this crashing bullshit. No one from GGG has replied to ANY of the threads asking for help. This is my 3rd and by fuck I am pissed at this point. I literally just started playing this game and have a level 12 Templar and it would be nice to play the damn game.
SO I game crashed 99% of the time after character is selected and trying to login to server. I have had 1-2 crashes at the main login screen before I even login. I have updated all drivers I have updated my BIOS I have all windows updates I am running a ANS515-44 Acer Gaming laptop AMD Ryzen 7 4800H with Radeon Graphics 2.90 GHz 16 GB RAM Windows 11 home 64 bit Not sure what else I should list but seriously GGG at least acknowledge an issue even if you don't have an answer. Something is better than nothing. Last bumped on Sep 7, 2024, 12:07:08 AM

Unfotunatelly when it comes to laptops there is always a slim chance that Your config will have "something inside" that will break that game. I have similar experience - some games on my gaming laptop wont work. Nothing helps. Just that.
It is because laptops are very wild configs these days. |

" Do you get any crash error messages? Switch to DX12 if you're getting Vulkan errors Delete your shader cache (or back it up if you want). Delete ALL files in this folder after exiting the game. This will force the game to create new data. Default location = %AppData%\Path of Exile You can change this default location in your production_Config.ini file: Documents > My Games > Path of Exile > edit production_Config.ini in notepad. In notepad hit Ctrl + F to search.. search for > cache_directory= Change the part after it to a new drive location if you desire. If you're running the steam client completely shut it down via task manager and use the standalone client to rule out a steam related issue. Standalone Download: https://www.pathofexile.com/download Disable ANY and ALL overlays to rule them out I didn't see where you mentioned you updated the Chipset Driver for Windows & the AMD CPU. This can be done directly in Windows from the AMD installer download. This is for your CPU > Click the Win11 dropdown and download/install the newest one. https://www.amd.com/en/support/downloads/previous-drivers.html/processors/ryzen/ryzen-4000-series/amd-ryzen-7-4800h.html I looked up the model Laptop you've provided and it appears you have the 1650ti Nvidia GPU. If you don't have the Nvidia GPU skip the recommended Nvidia driver download. First: Download and install DDU to properly clean out the previous GPU driver for your GPU only in the app. Only uninstall the 1650ti GPU Driver not your CPU built in graphics driver. Before doing any of the uninstall / reinstalls it's recommended to disconnect your internet so Windows does not auto download and install a new driver. Ensure you have all the downloads ready in a folder on your desktop or another easily accessible location. Link to the DDU main page of the app: https://www.wagnardsoft.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5016 Link to the actual DDU download on their page: https://www.wagnardsoft.com/content/Download-Display-Driver-Uninstaller-DDU-18080 Second: Roll back to the April 552.12 to ensure stability. Your GPU version does not benefit at all from the most up to date driver and the new versions beyond April releases are very problematic. https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/223955/en-us/ Reconnect your network connection/internet Double check Windows is set to use the proper GPU. Regardless of the in game setting Windows needs to be set properly. Click Win11 or Win10 a lil down the page in the link below and follow the instructions. https://www.asus.com/support/faq/1044213/ Last edited by ps7ekken#7379 on Sep 7, 2024, 12:08:52 AM
