Can curse ground and Marks apply together when you have 1 curse limit?

Hi
I have the default curse limit as 1.
I am using Mark on Hit with assassin's mark. I would like to know, if I use Despair with cursed ground creating an area with curse. What is the interaction on the curses. Because my understanding is that the ground is now adding curse to the monster on it, not me directly. The rare/unique monster should be affected by both the mark and the curse from the ground.
Can anyone confirm this for me?

I don't think this is correct. You created the ground effect so it will obey your curse limit. There are some case where this sort of thing can happen. Like if your animate guardian has a curse limit of 2 and is applying the curse after you. I doubt what you are suggesting works. Just about every build would use it if it was a way to get around the curse limit.

So are they going to keep overriding each other when I fight with a unique monster on the cursed ground?
Do you think the marks will still work or it will not ?
I don't know the exact interaction in this case. Whether it overrides or not, just that only 1 will be applied at any time. Generally that is how it works:
"
By default, one curse can be active at a time on a creature. While a curse is active, applying a different curse on the same creature will expire the oldest curse.
It may be a bit different for cursed ground, I think they may have to walk in and out of the area for it to reapply:
"
If the hex is removed from an enemy while they're on the cursed ground (Ex. with Hexblast), it will not be reapplied until it moves out of the cursed ground and back in again.
It should be pretty easy to test in game, if you go to mudflats and see how it works in the different ways that it might be applied, if the mark is staying on the mobs or not.
