Flesh and stone vs crab aspect?

I've been testing flesh and stone(stand stance) with lv 30 aspect of the crab and it seems to me that in terms of ehp+phisical dmg reduction seems better than 19% less damage taken from sand stance?

Is it me or im delusional?

Crab is way better but you are pigeonholed into some of the Crab uniques to actually maintain uptime which degrades it substantially.

Flesh and stone has the problem of being irrelevant to targets beyond a certain distance, in a way it encourages wilful facetanking.

They both have their tradeoffs but for a majority of characters flesh and stone will outperform crabman simply because crabmans uptime is non existent unless you evade/block nearly everything.

Edit: just as a random comment I really think they need to change Crab to stack slower but only remove one stack when hit (and potentially lower its maximum), the other aspects all kinda have their role but its extremely rare to see anyone using crab for any other reason than just to meme a bit.

i see your point,thanks

The thing is that i got 90%block everything 100%supress chance and 60% chance to evade and ive been playing a bit with these auras, and i came to a conclusion that yea you were right with the block and evasion is way better crab
