I am playing Ruthless solo with Elemental hit, how can i improve my build?

My Character is VitxyJimbo, this is my actual tree:

I've reached to Kitava act 10, I died a lot of times in the process (mainly by rare enemies), i did some changes on my build to have more HP and evasion in exchange of damage (around 8k dps i lost i am reach now around 14k) and other benefits, now i have 2914hp and 11k evasion as base = 73% evasion, but I am still getting terrible one shoted in the fight of kitava, I don't know what to do, i already maxed fire resist, and put a lot of points in evasion and HP, but even with Flicker strike and Quickstep is extremly hard for me to avoid his attacks and do barely damage to him or his minions spawn minions.

I already wasted my gold and refund points to reach at this point of HP so i will have to farm more gold ZZZ (i think refund points with gold scale too much and more even in the Ruthless mode where you have to work with what you get, it is a game, not a job and you should be able to fix your errors, its not either hardcore).

I use elemental hit, it was the skill gem that worked me better in early and build around it with Rapiers. I would like still use swords even if don't stick anymore with elemental hit if it is necessary.

What can i do to beat Kitava? I am planning to level up until 72 (currently 68) and farming gem quality in the Laberynth or the Grace gem. This is what i have in mind, but i don't know how to deal with ith far from that.

My build is Based on Elemental hit Double Rapier Full evasion with Frenzy charges and i was seeking for crit too.

ALSO i wanna ask if there is something that lets you cancel your attacks? I died a lot of times because my character won't stop the animation to start moving, i would like to interrupt my attack and instantly start moving.

For Kitava I usually want some phys mitigation. Evasion is good for mapping but its weak vs Kitava. See https://poedb.tw/us/Kitava%2C_the_Insatiable#KitavatheInsatiableKitavaFinal Lots of Spells with phys damage, even some Attacks have 'Can't be Evaded'. So for the way you built this may be particularly hard as an encounter. In SC I wouldnt rebuild the character merely for Kitava though.

Your tree looks wasteful to me:
Wind Dancer: likely bad
Crit stuff: inefficient
ele avoid: inefficient
frenzy investments: inefficient
Ascendancy: How useful 'Oath of Spring' is I dont know, my guess is that its weak.
Edit: You have EE so the 25% invert is questionable. 'Forces of Nature': You probably want this.

Im not familiar with Elemental Hit but if it works like I think you want +1 Strike Attack Mastery. If 'Tribal Fury' works you probably also want this, its useless for Single Target though. Optimally experiment in non-Ruthless first if 'Tribal Fury' helps. (But dont waste too many points just to get it. Its not that good at your stage.)

My guess is that claw with gain-on-hit is better. Or mix - this allows you to get the 60% inc damage on dual-wield mastery.

This is also what I would have suggested. The next few levels are still easy to get.

This is weird. You shouldnt have this kind of problem unless maybe your attack speed is really slow or something.

In addition to that make sure to use the league mechanic. See wiki: https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Kingsmarch#Generic_rewards The new Gambling may also be useful (or not, dont know).
No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!

Also missed before: You got 'Precision'. This may make it sufficiently easy to use 'Precise Technique'. This is at your stage likely much better than going crit.

Thanks Zrevnur, you really helped me, i will take in count your tips. The fact you told me Kitava is most phisical damage solved my problem after i took some more preparations.

I took the 'Iron Reflexes' which made posible to kill Kitava, it took some tries bc i was running out of mana and health, but i changed my potions to that and it was done.

I think i will still try go Critic with Frenzy, i think Elemental hit benefits a lot of Attack speed and it's meant to play with Bow or Claws mainly, and i don't have many options if i want go with swords.

Elemental Hit does not have problem killing in AoE if you have enough range, which i made sure to invest enough on it. Mainly problem i have is that is too random the damage it does, sometimes i hit really hard and others really weak, probably if i went claws i would not have this problem, but i think can be funny adding crit, maybe it's not funny at all.
One thing I would recommend is dropping the two redundant attack damage nodes in the ranger starting area and either the attack damage and leech or the attack damage and speed node between ranger and duelist. Since you mentioned being stuck in the attack animation, I would recommend dropping the attack damage and leech node.

That frees up 3 points you could put towards elemental damage and the notable "forces of nature", which would give you some elemental penetration. This could alleviate your damage problems as well to some degree.
From what you're describing, it sounds like you tend to run into enemies with varying resistances. For example, most skeleton enemies have some amount of lightning resistance, but no fire or cold resistance. This, combined with the wide damage range of lightning damage and the random element choice of elemental hit can make the damage quite inconsistent at times.

If you have access to "Trinity supoort" gem, I highly recommend using it, as it is one of the best support gems for elemental hit.

Last but not least, sending bismuth ore or bars to Te Onui can give quality gems and sending it to Ngakanu can give quality support gems. Those might come in handy and can be vendored for a gemcutter's prism if necessary.
I make dumb builds, therefore I am.

I already did, this is how it looks now

I have the doubt that if Attack Damage means overall damage or just phisical damage, because exist 'Damgae', 'Attack Damage' and 'Physical Damage'. I think i am loosing points on that nodes anyway so i think i will get rid of them and move to Frenzy or something, i just wanted the thing that they can't block my attacks.

Thanks for this tips, is good to know how to farm gems. Doing the Lab farming which level of difficulty should i pick? For going faster farming the rewards of completing it, because maybe lower levels are shorter and i kill mobs faster, but maybe the i do get less rewards.
Damage means all damage, attack damage applies to just attack damage, physical applies to just physical damage.
