leveling to 90
So basically to hopefully avoid the game shitting all over you when your trying to get to 90 or higher and can't afford decent upgrades in PoE's perennially f'ed up economy is to just run scrubbed maps?

Probably depends on your build.
I mean I breezed to 92 or so with a few bumps. Defenses matter a lot. So do build choices. Like you need to respec out of anything no longer helping. Maps are easier than delve IMO. I took that atlas passive that gives monsters 50% more HP, 25% less damage. That helps a lot especially if you consider yourself glass cannon (mine isn't but still can't handle mass assaults or the occasional rare monster). Between 85 and 90, I think do rare and corrupted maps as necessary, trade or scrub ones with bad stuff (reflects, sometimes elem or physical vulnerability, etc.). But alch everything unless you are expecting to finish the level, then I guess run a white map, my preference actually transmute then augmentation, then a few alterations. But I only run blue when I'm near leveling. But basically IMO delve is a better XP source than maps 85-90. It's riskier but the xp is better. I guess I'm not having map issues beyond lag death but I can melee if I have to (Jugg). Last edited by Tyrsonjsp#2390 on Aug 27, 2024, 8:19:15 PM
