Whispering Ice trickster

Yo fellow Exiles, as in the title, I am playing a Trickster with Whispering Ice and I love it.
I would ask you, more experienced folks, if Stampede Boots are really the key item or can I successfully switch it to some high int/ES rare boots? Besides an additional annoint I hardly see any benefits from those boots. Thanks in advance for any answer. Last bumped on Aug 25, 2024, 9:43:46 AM

stampede is generally used in cyclone coc/cwc setups, it's worthless if you don't use cyclone to trigger icestorm

If you have "One Step Ahead" (Ascendancy point), I see no reason for you to use Stampede.

One step ahead does not prevent the movement slow from cyclone so actually using both is still required.
