Gold ring around maps in the Atlas.

I never noticed before, but I saw people have gold rings around maps in the Atlas on youtube and reddit. On my Atlas they are bronze, and as far as I can remember it was the same with all my other characters in previous leagues.
I tried to look on google, reddit and here but looking up for gold rings in atlas returned only people talking about farm strats or the actual gold ring item. Can somebody enlighten me about what is it? My Atlas is fully completed, so I doubt it's the issue. From what I can see with a few searches, that's just the style that the rings marked completed maps used to be in. It looks like the change was made in 3.17, when they changed the Atlas layout from the Sirus+Conquerors version (8 sections with the atlas info in the center) to the current version introduced with the Searing Exarch and the Eater of Worlds.

" It seems I didn't make it clear enough in my reply: the old style is the bronze rings, what your screenshot shows that you are still seeing. The golden rings are the new style. The wiki also has screenshots showing the old style on the page for the Atlas of the Worlds. https://www.poewiki.net/images/9/93/Atlas_%283.15%29.png (3.15 version of the atlas) It just seems like, for whatever reason, your installation isn't using the new graphic. |
