Legacy modifiers on items
Hello.
I know probably not a whole lot of people care about Standard but I've got an item from a past league that I want to keep, because apparently such modifiers can no longer be rolled on Watcher's Eye - physical damage from hits taken as x damage while affected by purity of elements. The prices for such items with 2+ combinations of them are rather... high, and scarce, which creates a suspicion that if I were to roll them with a divine orb, they modifiers could just get removed? As with Legacy flasks, for example (Bottled Faith flat crit % vs increased crit % on live). I kind of want to get a higher overall roll on this item, but completely unsure as to how it will act, and there's no way to check it on a website like craftofexile. If you want to know for sure you could always buy the cheapest one mod on any purity phys taken as mod and see what happens.
Generally speaking divine orbs dont create new mods as far as im aware. Last edited by gladiatorpie#3317 on Aug 22, 2024, 2:54:48 PM

Phys taken as conversion watchers are safe to divine.

There is a recent thread related to this that you might want to read, there's a lot of questions and only a few answers, but I think the basic mechanic is stated on the wiki for divine and not wiki for legacy.
" So Divine orbs can not add or remove mods, however they do sometimes roll the range of a mod to (0), making them hidden and have no effect. Not sure exactly how this works with watchers eye if a fixed mod from the mod pool gets altered, rather than a specific mod on an item. My guess is also that it will be fine, but I don't know for certain. https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3529152 Last edited by Belegur85#5784 on Aug 23, 2024, 12:35:47 AM
