Lost equiped item, my shield disappeared from my character's equipment

Lost equiped item: my equipped shield and these 3 gems disappeared from my character's equipment. I don't know how or since when but it was today that I found that I had much less resistance.

Any chance you were doing some crafting on it and left it in one of the devices? Like sockets or mastermind? Check secondary weapons. Things don't just disappear, so you would of had to of accidentally thrown it on the ground or vendored it for it to be gone.
