cast when damage take doesnt work with bow

i have bow/ balistra pathfinder build, when i try to use "cast when dmg taken with mortal call doesnt work, doesnt mater level or anything else, what ever i try didnt work for a week now, i read the forum and never get it to work.so accidentally i press secondary weapon and i use dagger and by miracle the gem change to "support mortal call" i thought was the bad synergism with the gems in bow, but i fact wasnt! without gems on bow or even i change bow the "cast when damage taken support" never work when equip bow, only meele!

You've misunderstood entirely how the gem works. It has no correlation with any item you've equipped on your character, including bows. Plenty of bow builds use it.

Your characters are all hidden so I can't see what you were trying to do but I have some likely scenarios that might have been the actual problem.

1. CWDT is a trigger skill but it still requires enough mana to cast when it reaches the trigger threshold. If you are running very lean on your mana it might be that the skill can't work because there is insufficient mana for it.

2. Your Immortal Call skill is too high a level to be triggered. A level 1 CWDT indicates it requires level 38 to be used. This level is also the limitation for connected spell skills you want to use. So you can use a level 3 Immortal Call skill which indicates it also requires level 38 to use. So it hasn't exceeded the level ceiling. If you upgrade your Immortal Call skill to level 4, it now requires your character to be level 40 and then has exceeded the threshold for the level 1 CWDT skill. It can't trigger automatically any more.

One of those two scenarios is your likely problem so this should help you fix the issue.
