Does Militant Faith always change the nodes?

I am using Inner Conviction but the unique jewel changed my Power Charge at the very north of passive tree to something else that I don't need. Does it always change the nodes I've already invested or it's random?

Ok. I bought the wrong one then because it changed my Power charge to "+1 min Endurance charge if I have 150 devotion"

google "timeless jewel calc poe" - i was able to find +2 all res per devotion ,4% area damage per devotion in Witch slot and it was transform only 1 node wich i took - lord of the dead (minion node) was tranformed to "gain 5% extra energy shield from max mana if you have 150 devotion". Ive spended may be 1 hour checking the calc and trade with different options. and i had 170 devotion ~ 34$ all res+68% area damage for BL was sweet. Its hard,but its possible
