Sasan Bandit Lord Challenges

I've failed the challenges on this 3 times so far. Does anyone have any tips for melee to get either of these challenges:

- without being hit by Circle of Flame
- without being hit by Hail of Arrows

I've done over 300 maps to get the Sasan to pop up, and it's really frustrating to keep attempting. I'm playing a lacerate gladiator, so damage is not super high and i have to be in melee to do damage so can't offscreen to avoid.

I don't know how to avoid the circle of fire. I don't recall touching it a few of the times I did it and I still failed it. For the arrow one when he starts casting the arrows in the air just keep running and don't let any of them touch you.

Apparently you can cheese the laser challenge on the starfall boss by logging out when he's about to start it and then coming back in with grace period. I would've done that had I not found Sasan. 17 1% mappers dead and I've only seen Sasan 4 times.
