Accidentally clicked out of Bandit encounter. Ransom is greyed out.

Like title says, the Bandit portal hasn't been addressed like the pirate, so i clicked off of it. I'm about to lose all my expensive mappers because the ransom option is greyed out for seemingly no reason?
