Exertion and Multistirke

I had fun using the Autoexertion gem and decided to replace Faster Attacks with Multistrike and encountered the fact that Exerted attacks are not applied when using a skill enhanced by Multistrike gem. Is this a bug? Or is this how it should be?

There's an explanation if you hold Alt over a Warcry gem. It explains types of attacks that cannot be exerted, which includes "attacks that repeat", which is the behavior Multistrike adds.

Ohhh... Right... Didn`t see it in explanation in a Warcry gem... Got it.
