I would like to check how Challenges - Inciting Invitations works, as I completed some invitations but the percentage remained at zero.

You need to roll the invitations with currency.
(I believe the first invitations you receive via quests are unrollable, but later you can add difficulty with e.g. Alch orbs) |

throw an alch on it and vaal it if you can handle it. you can just keep doing the easy one that drops after every 14 maps. no need to farm up the guardians etc unless you want to
