Improving Vaal Omnitect's loot outcome when running Temple of Atzoalz?

When running Temple of Aztzoalz, does killing all the Vaal Architects before you kill the Vaal Omnitect improve the loot the Vaal Omnitect drops after it's been defeated?

I don't think it has any effect. The way you build the temple does though, certain rooms will augment the Omnitect making the fight harder and changing the drops.
