Ransom button doesn't work

I have the gold, I just can't press the button :D

Same.
The boss is easy as hell, but I lagged and was dead by the time it smoothed out. I had the "insufficient gold" tooltip as well. So I went and made some gold. Now it's just greyed out with no tooltip. |

I guess there's only one choice - either rescue or ransom.
