Town Load Times

A few leagues back, the amount of time that it took to load into towns increased significantly. I assumed this a due to some temporary glitch that would be rectified in short order. However, it's still a problem.

Is this something that is expected to be fixed, or is it something that we'll just have to live with for some reason?
