Volcanic Fissure + Chieftain

Simple question
Not sure how to build the Volcanic fissure on the Chieftain. Between Ignite and direct damage.
I prefer constant damage over burst/crit and kinda don't want to bother with accuracy mechanics.

I'm hitting a yellow brick wall with rare yellow maps
I'm obviously missing tanky items, but not sure what to replace/look for. Could also be some Passive tree changes, but I'm at a loss.
