can double fractured still be done?

didnt find in patch notes, can it still be done? i attempted 6 times to recombine two axes each with one or two random prefixes, one with fractured strength and other with fractured attack speed, and an additional crafted identical suffix for first 4 tries then different second suffix for last 2 tries.
Not any of the attempts combined the two fractured mods in one.

Before this patch when only with recombinators was possible, i even had quad fractured items made by myself, now i cant get one with even two. Did they change this to not be possible?

yes they changed it, the new recombination can't combine fractured mods.

damn, thanks. I suppose all the chaos i spent on fractured bases to try them are wasted. They should have specified this on patch notes, along with many other things ..
