How to unlock 6th map device slot?

I cant figure out what I am missing. What are things I needed to unlock the atlas device slots? I have been carried in T17s already so that unlocked 5th slot. What is the other thing to do?

defeating Maven opens the 6th from what i remember from the patch release video

need to do the Maven invitations once you do the Invitation with 10 map bosses you unlock it.
