Computer crashes while playing PoE

Since yesterday randomly my computer just restarts like it crashed, checked event viewer no drivers at fault it claims kernel power which makes it "PSU" related but I'm not experiencing this at any other game. Played for a week flawlessly and just yesterday it started.

CPU I7 riverlake 14700k
GPU MSI 4080 Super
32 GB RAM

I checked if the PC is overheating seems not, sometimes the cpu spikes to 80 but its solid 50-60
GPU seems to be around 65 constant

Any suggestions?

this seems to happen when interacting with certain npcs using the new Retaliation abilities, I played Lacerate build and Spectral shield throw and had 0 issues

The thing is its not only that the game crashes my entire pc restarts instantly, doesn't happen in any other game and I'm running right now stress test on the CPU and getting no issue.

Yeah I found that Intel 14 raptor lake has issues that is why I'm trying to stress test to see if it replicates.

Could be related to the current intel 13th and 14th gen processor problems?

Don't get me wrong here i'm no expert and only going off the snippets i've seen but the intel problem seems like it is an issue with the boost clock taking too much power to do what it dose and potentially burning out parts of the CPU and while it may not cause an immediate problem it is a problem that will only get worse.

did your pc restart? or CPU latency issues? because my cpu is on 2-3 in all situations

this is my going theory, probably related to the CPU or PSU either one is faulty, the thing is I ran every benchmark and test on the CPU yet never crashed so I'm not sure which one it is.

Having the same issue on a 9 month old PC. Went so far as to replace my PSU. I've had no issues in prior leagues or in other games. I've updated every driver, bios, firmware that I can think of. Most crashes are in 0 load situations, like in my hideout.

I just opened the game and played for 1m and my pc crashed, started it up running stress test and no crashes, this is must be some kind of game issue

whats your PC specs?

try to disable in graphics "Engine Multithreading"
