I used Animate Guardian on an identified Belly of the Beast Full Wyrmscale to give my current Guardian a huge life increase.
However, the life of my Guardian did not go up at all.
I placed the item on the ground with no other items on the ground in Kingsmarch.
The item was below the level limit that my Animate Guardian skill gem requires.
Is this a bug?

What are you basing this on?

Well, according to the wiki, the Guardian has a "huge innate life pool."
Since my Belly of the Beast Full Wyrmscale had a 40% increased maximum life affix, then it should have given my Guardian a big life boost.

The stats displayed in the skill's tooltip only accounts for modifiers the skill has, like from the passive tree, jewels, player-equipped items and support gems. It cannot account for further modifiers from things like being affected by an aura, shields through Necromantic Aegis or modifiers from items an Animated Guardian has equipped. These will not factor into the skill's tooltip but are active nonetheless.

Oh, wow, if that is correct, thank you so very much for looking into that for me. :)
