Svalinn Girded Tower Shield and Absolution of Inspiring

I am currently playing a Svalinn build with Absolution of Inspiring as my triggered gem when ever I block which is working fine, however the summoned Sentinels from Absolution of Inspiring are just standing around not attack anything. I have tried using normal Absolution and still they just stand around not casting there skill. Also tried feeding frenzy linked to them and still they refuse to slay the enemies. Is this interaction correct or is it bugged?
