Trade rules?

Returning player here
Are there any trade rules or customs i should be aware of? For a wile now i try to buy some things (cheap things usualy) using the sites trade tab and direct wisper but no one ever reacts. Is it rude to just use the direct wisper? Are they maybe waiting for me to invite them? Are there maybe any options i may have clicked in the past to prevent them or me from wispering or getting invited? Last bumped on Aug 15, 2024, 12:08:02 AM

No what you are doing is fine. The rules are you whisper them through the trade side and wait for him/her to invite you. Then you join their hideout and wait for them to trade you.
But often, especially for cheap trades, people are doing something where they cannot leave or are too lazy to leave their map for a 5 C trade. |

Also the first few listed items are usually just listed by some people to drop the prices. It’s called price fixing.

" The "lazy" is bad word. They are not lazy,but they teleport costs much more then 5c if its juiced t17 map where each portal easly can cost a half of divine. Second point - you can right in the middle of fight with boss or doing abyss and if you are not summoner or autobomber = you cannot reply / staying afk even for a second on juiced maps is deadly. If im in HO - i always will invite or if im not in the middle of fight - i will answer like "wait 5m pls" , but sometimes i typically cannot answer. The third- sometimes ppl just afk , but not long enough that get aft status from the game. So that means that it is also ok to just whisper them again, after a reasonable time of couse, right? " Well, nothing keeps you from replying later when you have the time to do so. |

I've been on both sides of this.
As a seller, I'm often too busy in game. Or I forgot I even had the item, now have to think if I need it...or if it was mispriced. Lately game as been so laggy/ bad disconnects I decided to take my entire trade tab hidden because I can barely play the game. As a buyer, I msg a seller. If no response in 30 seconds, msg the next one. Most items have thousands of results. They really need an auction house similar to the commodity market. |

I agree with all replies to this, but for the love of (any Supreme being of your Choice) Please dont ask for a trade and Bugger Off when you are invited to party 5 seconds later Very bad mannered and makes trades very much less likely in the future... give someone time to respond , or do not Bother them unless you plan to trade. especially if it is a low priced item
