About Gladiator's Determined Survivor ascendency

I have some question for it:
- What would happen if I take Gladiator's Determined Survivor and choose "Necromantic Aegis" from the note? Does that means I get 50% of block chance and my minion get the block chances from my shield ?
- If I take Gladiator's Determined Survivor, use duel claw and take the master ry note "Inherent attack speed bonus from duel welding is double while wielding two claw" how many % attack speed I will get from the inherent duel wielding?

1. Correct. Determined survivor applies to you, not your minions. You gain 50% block, not your minions. They will use the shield's stats instead.

2. 20% more. Both of the nodes state that they double the effect. You can only double something once. They do not "stack".

The ascendancy bonus is clearly worded as a bonus from equipped shield, hence you can't benefit from it after allocating Necromantic Aegis.

Minions should get 50% chance to block from shield; if they don't, that may be an unintended interaction, or a bug. But the player definitely won't have any chance to block from equipped shield, neither printed value nor 50%.

Interesting, now I understand better why Determined Survivor is worded this way. It works like "increased Defences/ES from Equipped Shield" stats (Retaliation, Arcane Guarding notables). But instead of increasing the defence value it sets new block chance value. Per this old thread, you have to benefit from the shield for such bonuses to apply, and Necromantic Aegis prevents it.

Perhaps I should have specified "you WOULD have gained 50% block". Since we were talking about Necromantic Aegis I thought this was implicitly understood. Also, that wasn't the real question. The question was whether or not minions benefit from Determined Survivor. They don't. Same reason why stuff like "60% increased defences from equipped shield" doesn't work. They are not minion modifiers. They apply to you. The shield you wear is not modified. Your stats are. Your minions only get bonuses listed on the shield itself. Nothing on the tree affects that.
