idk where else to ask, but does the Apparition always appear with you? or only in towns? from the video showcase it looks like its only in towns???

Not quite sure what you mean, but it will show up, any time you stop moving.

I got the pack today, and tried it out. I took it off though, as the fans on my PC go nuts, when it shows up. Like the most I've ever seen it kick into high gear, I was actually scared, Lol.

I don't know why this game is so taxing, as I have a fairly good PC (GTX 370 and an 11600 i5) I keep trying to lower the settings, and mess around with them... still the fans are going most of the time.

the showcase on youtube on the official site shows it trying to siphon souls from other players and then disappear, i was wondering if that means that it only shows up around in "towns" or the safe zones where other players show up

Personally, if I hear the fans in any game at all, i go into the Nvidia control panel and set framerate to 60 or lower for that particular game in the 3D settings. and with POE i also turned off global illumination, dont know what it does but things dont look very different without it on and the fans went noticeably quieter after
