Do life leech and life recoup stack?
Trying to make life leech plus life recoup but i don't get if they stack or not? Theoretically these two are different mechanics, but PoB counts it really strange, like if i invest in leech recoup becomes useless.

Is this on your warden? I'm looking at the POB but when I toggle life recoupe nodes I don't see any change to leech value. Which value are you looking at exactly that is changing?

" Yes, my warden. I was looking at leech value and also effective HP. |

Apologies, there's a lot of values in POB, and I'm still a bit unclear exactly which value you are looking at.
In general, to the best of my knowledge, recoup and leech don't interact so you should be able to stack them without effecting your leech cap. In the POB I'm looking at I don't see these interacting. On the calculations page, in the "Leech and gain on hit" box, I see all your leech values remain the same, whether I toggle on/off your 24% recoup. Also, on the left hand panel, with splitting steel selected, I see your leech/LOH value is also remaining the same. EHP value also remain the same, 10,340. Effective dot pool also remains the same, 4270. It's possible you have some other settings enabled that I haven't configured or I'm looking at the wrong value. I can see you have some degen on your build from bloodrage. Also weeping wounds, which I think POB might not show the life degen even if tincture is applied. Other than this I'm not sure. Sorry if I'm misunderstanding and this is not helpful. This is from the recovery wiki, not sure if it relates. https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Recovery " Last edited by Belegur85#5784 on Aug 3, 2024, 11:46:04 PM

" Huge thanks for such a complex answer and your investigation! I am also far from using all possibilities of PoB so i was looking on leech per sec\hit and effective HP. Very strange thad enabling\disabling recoup nodes doesn't affect effective HP value. My thoughts that PoB simply don't count recoup cuz we dont point anywhere that damage was taken resently, because it is when recoup starts to work. I also tried to find such setting in PoB where we can point that damage was taken but unfortunately could not find such setting. If you know where i can find it we can test my suggestion. |

Yeah alot of the POB calculations by default are not taking into account DOT. Recoup is kind of complex because of it not being constant but based off the amount of damage you take. There might be a way in POB to use all these values to get a value of restored health based over a time period based off incoming damage, but i'm not sure, I've never done it before. There might also be another application someone has created.
