Steam unable to connect to server

Not sure if this is isolated or more widespread, but updated my Steam PoE on my M3 MacBook Pro and it runs fine, but when attempting to log in through steam, it immediately says it's unable to connect to server. Internet connection is fine, and logged in this morning without problems on standard. Anyone else having trouble logging in with Steam?

I got logged out of my steam account and i had to make a new account when i tried to log back in cause it told me i diodn't have an account.. just hoping i can get my old account back with my stuff on it

Issue still present for me. It's an instant "Unable to connect," as if no attempt is even being made. I deleted all game files and reinstalled, restarted computer, and tried tethering to my phone instead of wi-fi to make sure there was no local firewall issue preventing a connection. All attempts yielded the same result as initially encountered.

This is happening for me with the M3 chip. Updated via steam, PoE client runs, but when I try to log in, it says:

"Connecting to login server..."
"Unable to connect to login server."

Tried different gateways all with the same result.
Tried verifying all of the install files via steam (successfully) ended with the same result.

Edit: I got it to work by changing the language on the login screen (upper right hand corner). It restarted (didn't change the language), and then I was able to login and make a character + play.

Mac M3 on Steam login

Same here. I did reinstall the complete game (40GB) on steam. Could reach once the character selection and then i came back to the Login Screen with "Unable to connect to login server". Helb mi an steam mac frens blease! release tag 3.25.0

UPDATE: ...found something weird out... Over mobile hotspot, it worked for me. So i guess the regular ISP connection is blocked or its some stupid firewall settings from macOS. Hope it helps s.o. too.
