PREFACE
Short story of my league and this build: I have been playing POE since a while and I really enjoy making my own builds (fully admitting with fluctuating success). This leage my goal was to farm my first


The Economy of Necropolis league was kind to me so I actually managed to get one. It was clear that I wanted to make a dedicacted build for it (payed 58 Div when the prices started rising again). I also never had the chance to build around

which happend to be unusually cheap this time around as well (payed 60c around the dip).
So this whole build started as "What can I do with a Mageblood and a Squire?"


Building the build concept
At this stage I had now Idea what flask setup I wanted to use but having a squire I was dedicated not to settle with a 6 or 7 link. So the weapon was gonna be a shaper/elder with "socketed gems are supported by xyz"

Having in mind that a lot of links/supports will cost a lot of mana, and without a futzher plan to pay the cost, the weapon of choice was gonna be a GEMINI_CLAW for the "grants 14c mana on hit" implicit.

Now the next step was to decide elder vs. shaper or when looking at the possible support affixes: Phys vs. Elemental.

At this time around I realized that any shaper/elder claw with mainly "supported by" affixes will have basically zero damage. So the question was how to get enough flat added damage.

Sure we can sacrifices support gems or takle a skill wqhihcb already has damage inbuilt (spells or ele hit) but there must be more and better ways.

This gave the deccision for the Guardian Ascendancy because of "Unwavering Crusade" which gives us Anger hatred and Wrath aruas for free (so added fire, phys as cold + more cold damage and added lightning)

From there to dominating blow was honestly just scrolling through skills and thinking that 250ish % effectivness of added damage sounds legit enough plus the minions will also benefit from the auras.
Looking at dominating blow of Inspiring which makes "increase and reduction to minions damage also apply to this skill at 300 % (20% quality) sounded than like a very solid way to scale damage

--> a lot of added damage + a ton of increased through minion damage + a >6 link (11) (plus some minions to join me on the journey)
And a Mageblood to help "soften the edges"

BUILD OVERVIEW


It is hard for me to judge how "good" or "fast" or "eficient" this build is.
But I had tons of fun playing, testing and creating it, leveing it to 100 and
taking on T17,

My personal judgement would be
PRO:
-- decently tanky
(a bit short of 5k life. 58/57 block with no flasks, 80/76/85/30 res, life gain on hit, 3 endurance charges, immune to corruputing blood / frozen / shock / ignite and decently safe against poison and bleed, burst healing via Time of need, fortify, Sentinel of radiance [20 of hits is taken from this guy before you])

-- solid damage (around 7 Million Shaper DPS + more or less 1 Million DPS from Minions)

-- Melee and no totems in sight

-- it is not a Meta build


CON:

-- no idea if in any way "budget efficient"
-- it is not a Meta build


Gear
GEAR

probably only made "cheaply accesible" via Gaveyard crafting, bought the fractured base and finished it with 90k blue juice till I hit both supported by crit and socketed skills deal 40% more damage crafted hits cant be evaded.


28 quality gives us +70% effect of minion damage, and a bunch of quality of life in aoe for herald of ice, recued cooldonws on utility etc. + 1 to all skill gems is also nice to have


is a huge boost to reservation and helps us with freeze and ignite immunity
also deathwalk is a nice "add on" with 600% damage from spritual aid corpses exploied for 30% of their life


self crated in the graveyard, covers damage, minion speed ,attack speed, and some res to cap n0our minions resists.


ele weakness for damage, 51 dex needed, life.


self crafted with graveyard, hit thev wriong fractures still gives us +2 to mion chaos res, life and phys taken as.


was thinking a lot about which chestpiece I want and decied that frenzy + power charges still leave room for other affixes and got really lucky with an awakener orb.


self crafted and spend around 60 div.... would like more life and/or attack speed but leanred my lessons using an Annul on the first version of this gloves I Had....



Support_minions


Animate Guardian:
Tyrant Crown (-10 all res for enemies) + flatz fire damage
Legacy oif Fury (-10-15 ele res via scorched)
Vixen with enfeeble implicit (to take less damage from tougher guys)
Sporeguard fore 10% non chaos bas choas and enemies deal 10% less damage
(got a cheap corrputed one for 100c this late in the league)
warlord shield with recover % life on block (angelic for some res)
The Temptous steel (could not decide a weapon and thought always hit and 30 ele pen is not that bad.. for sure not a big damage source anyway)


1 Spectra leader for 20% action speed bonus (80% uptime)
2 Pale seraphim for 15 % vincreased damage taken and 15% reduced action speed on enemies
