Spectral Shield Throw projectiles don't chain/fork

Despite what the wiki and stuff says, after extensive testing I have come to the conclustion that the secondary projectiles from Spectral Shield Throw do not Fork or Chain.

I don't know if this is intended or what. The primary projectile will fork once, and it will chain, but it does not seem to fork or chain beyond that.
