Culling strike support quality work with minions?

So im starting to get up in higher tear maps and im doing a SRS build. It's starting to take longer and longer to down bosses, so I decided to use culling strike support to nip 10% of the HP, saving some time.

My question is if I increased the quality of the gem, which states 10% increased damage. Would this actually work with it being socketed with SRS?

current quality effect is : Additional Effects From 1-20% Quality:
Recover (0.1-2)% of Life when Supported Skills Cull an Enemy



culling strike has increased damage PER LEVEL of the gem. which, yes, would increase the damage of raging spirits.


however, its *increased* damage, and not *MORE* damage. so even with culling strike, losing a better support gem may actually make it take *LONGER* to kill bosses.

a better solution is to have culling strike on a separate ability. my current character uses Storm Brand - Hextouch - Curse - Culling strike. this applies my curse of choice and culls big enemies, while my carrion golems get 5 pure damage support gems.
