Rare item with no sockets

Just crafted Foil and realised it has no sockets and i can't add one. How is this even possible? Is it a bug?

In the crafting bench you can craft has # sockets, just had a similar item and can confirm the craft works, though I really want to figure out what causes the no sockets to happen, if you happen to figure out what step caused the sockets to be removed please share :)

What happens if you have heist enchant -3 sockets, then remove it? Does the item default to 0 sockets or does it regain back any sockets it would have without the enchant?

So it will be a zero socket item in that case until you craft on it?
What crafting were you doing on this item OP? Was it ground loot, trade or for another source? |
