Incinerate of Venting totem AI canceling at max stages

There is an AI unintended interaction related to the Incinerate of Venting skill when used on spell totems. It appears that the skill is channeling to full stages then releases, and repeats on totems, and is using the AI from normal incinerate. There is also another bug for all Incinerate skills on Totems, where if it kills an enemy, it will cancel the channel and restart.

What happens:
When the totem kills an enemy, it will stop channeling and release. When it reaches full stages on Incinerate of Venting, it releases the channel as if it was Incinerate.

What should happen:
For Incinerate of Venting, It should hold the channel so long as an enemy is in range, as there is no reason it should ever release the channel. For Incinerate, it should not release the channel on enemy death and only release on max stages.

I confirm these bugs. I do hope they'll be fixed soon and that this is not intentional behavior...
Bug is still there.

Maybe an easy fix is to swap it to the Totem AI for Lightning Tendrils?

This does not seem like intentional behaviour as it makes the skill un-useable.
